A little about myself:
My name is Kristin, I am 22 years old and I grew up in Boston, Massachusetts. Currently, I am a senior at Salem State University where I am pursuing a degree in Communications and set to graduate this coming May. My passion is the entertainment industry, particularly with a focus in music. I am also on my second semester as an intern at Kiss 108 FM, Boston's #1 hit music station. Going to concerts and keeping up with bands has always been a hobby of mine, and when I started interning at Kiss 108 and got a little taste of what it's like to work behind the scenes in the business, that is when I knew that I desired to become further involved in the music industry and turn my passion into a career. Since Communications is such a broad field to study, I decided to take matters into my own hands by getting involved in anything I possibly could to gain additional experience in the music business. That is one major reason why this music blog was created, and I have also taken on more projects since then. In addition to running this blog, I spend my time doing promotions for different bands and street teaming for bands such as Once Upon A Time and Call Me Anything. Continuing these activities is how I plan to follow my passion for the business side of music.
